This two-layered bone contains structured bone marrow which is clearly differentiated from the surrounded substantia compacta in colour and structure.The canine femur displays all anatomical structures in true detail, from the trochanter major to the fossa intercondylaris. With its comminuted fracture it is ideally suited for the training of different osteosynthesis techniques on the canine femur.
